To descend more, you have to climb more, it's a fact. The Cannondale Trigger 29er 4 takes adjustable travel to the next level. As you change the travel, the geometry changes as well, steeper for climbing, slacker for the descents, all controlled by a bar-mounted remote. Leading the charge is a 130mm RockShox Revelation to pilot you down the trail. And the go is provided by a 3x10 Shimano with an SLX rear derailleur. You're equipped with SLX discs, tubeless-ready WTB rims and tires for super stability, and Cannondale's own bar, stem and seatpost for rock-solid control over any and all terrain.
With Fox's DYAD RT2 rear shock, you can have the best possible performance across the widest spectrum of terrain. Developed in collaboration with Cannondale, the dual-travel, dual-personality DYAD RT2 is actually two completely different shocks housed in one package: Elevate – a shorter travel, smaller volume air shock for rolling and climbing terrain, and Flow – a longer travel, high volume linear air shock for aggressive descending.
Activated on the fly by a handlebar-mounted lever, each mode has its own dedicated damping circuits, fully optimized for the intended terrain. Switching between the Elevate and Flow modes also changes the bike's sag point and geometry. In Elevate mode, the bike rides higher, resulting in steeper head and seat angles and keeping the rider in a better position for climbing and tight technical terrain. In Flow mode, the bottom bracket drops, lowering the center of gravity and making the angles slack and stable, perfect for charging descents.
Cannondale's ECS-TC (Enhanced Center Stiffness–Torsion Control) technology eliminates flex or play in the links and bearings of your frame. Cannondale uses widely spaced, 15mm through-axles for the key pivots. The axle then becomes a structural part of the link or swingarm and radically increases your frame's ability to resist twisting loads and side-to-side movement.
